Who we are
R2 WoodWork is a family-owned finish carpentry company serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. For over fifteen years, our carpenters and installers have fitted crown moulding, wainscoting, ceilings, and trim in homes across the region, and we still treat every project with the same care we would want in our own home.
We have worked on just about everything, from custom builds and condos to everyday renovations. Whatever the space, we take it from the first measurement to the final pass, and we leave your home cleaner than we found it. No splitting, no separating, no warping, just work that stays tight for years.
What we do
Every project starts with a free on-site estimate and a clear plan. Whatever the room, we build it to look considered and last for years.
Crown moulding brings character and a custom-finished look to any room. We size and install it to suit your home, from clean modern profiles to rich traditional detail, finished tight in every corner.
A coffered or waffle ceiling draws the eye up and gives a room a striking, custom finish. We lay out the grid to fit your space and build it to look like it was always meant to be there.
Wainscoting adds warmth and classic detail to walls, hallways, and stairways. Picture-frame, flat-panel, shaker, or board-and-batten, custom-built on site, never an off-the-shelf kit.
Baseboards, casings, and trim are the details that tie a whole home together. We install them clean and tight, so every line stays true for years to come.
A feature wall turns one surface into the focal point of the room, slatted, panelled, fluted, or geometric. We design it to fit the space rather than compete with it.
New interior doors are one of the simplest ways to upgrade how a home looks and feels. We handle the full install, from measuring to hanging to the final adjustment.

Turnaround is quick. On average the work takes between 12 and 48 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the project. A single room of crown moulding or wainscoting is often done in a day or two, while a full home of trim, ceilings, and feature walls takes a little longer. We give you a realistic timeline in writing before we start, and we hold to it.
